8x24 Wehrmacht trench periscope

A World War 2 'rabbit ear' trench binocular periscope, 8x24 magnification, made in Paris by Huet and bearing the German army H/6400 stamp. Such binoculars were designed for watching over enemy lines from the safety of the trench, without the operator having to stick his head above the parapet and into enemy fire. Approx 10”/25cm.
