A Victorian 8 x 10" studio folding plate camera by the Norfolk maker, John Henry Skinner and dating to the mid 1890s. Mahogany and brass construction with excellent bellows and original lens. The camera bears its original Ivorine maker's plaque, with another for the retailer, Mssrs Frost & Shipham of Syndey, Australia. Height 36cm (14") and length at maximum extension about 50cm (20").
