Stereoscopic slide projector, Pintsch Bamag, 1950s

£0.00

A heavily-engineered vintage 35mm stereoscopic projector, simply marked ‘Made in West Berlin, Germany’ but most likely by Pintsch Bamag. Fitted with twin Steinheil Munchen 80mm f2.8 projection lenses with adjustment for focus, height and separation. Fan-cooled. Being of metal construction and originally supplied without any electrical earth bonding whatsoever, I have had it fitted with a replacement lead which has been properly earthed and PAT tested for electrical safety (May 2021). Contained within the original transit case with working lock and key, and supplied with a number of viewing glasses. The projector measures approximately 37cm long, 28cm high and 22cm wide.

Condition: Cosmetically excellent with barely a blemish to the original paintwork. All lenses, inside and out, in good order and free from haze, fungus, cracks, chips or other damage. Two of the internal filters are cracked but these are just flat 3mm ground glass screens and look to be easily replaced. The power supply has been recently replaced, properly earthed and safety tested (May 2021), certification included. Wooden case with numerous scuffs and scratches. Working lock and key. Currently working but sold as seen and without warranty.

Overseas buyers: Please contact me for a shipping quotation. Please note that all international shipments, including those in mainland Europe, now attract import duty.
