A late Victorian antique adjustable magic lantern or studio stand of pine construction with original twin castors, heavily engineered cast iron worm gear for height adjustment and a further turnscrew for adjusting the inclination of the hinged platform to the top. Adjustable height from 36" (92cm) to 48" (120cm) at maximum extension, the top platform measuring 14" (36cm) x 10.5" (27cm). Age-related wear and tear including scuffs, scratches and some old repairs. All controls working correctly. NOT FOR SALE
